Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What pool filter models is this drain cap compatible with?

A: This pool filter drain cap with sealing gasket is compatible with pool sand filter models 602-5321 and 602-5320, as well as similar threaded drain outlet systems. If you're unsure about compatibility, check your filter's drain outlet thread size before ordering.

Q: What materials is the pool filter drain cap made from?

A: The drain cap body is made from high-strength engineering plastic that resists corrosion, aging, and wear — even in chlorinated environments. It also includes a built-in high-elastic rubber O-ring gasket that creates a watertight seal at the filter drain outlet.

Q: How does the sealing gasket prevent leaks?

A: The integrated rubber O-ring gasket works in tandem with the threaded plastic cap to create a dual-layer seal at the filter drain outlet. When tightened, the O-ring compresses to fill any gaps, blocking water from escaping and ensuring stable, drip-free operation of your pool filtration system.

Q: Is this drain cap easy to install?

A: Yes! The threaded design allows for simple hand-tightening — no special tools or plumbing experience required. Just remove the old or damaged cap, clean the threads on your filter, and thread this replacement cap in securely for an instant, watertight fit.
